Phyllis Ann Perez

Phyllis Ann Perez, 65, of Kountze, passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2016. She was a member of Grace Church of Kountze. Phyllis was a very loving mother and grandmother. She always wanted to help everybody. Phillis was a peace keeper. She will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Mildred Harlow; sisters, Mary Jean Vernier, Patricia Moon, Linda Dewitt, Carolyn Harbor, and Benita Gay Jordan.

She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Edward Perez, Jr., of Kountze; children, Edward Perez III and wife, Bessie of China, Jamie Eugene Perez and wife, Randee of Kountze, Dana Rene Bolser and husband, Christopher of Kountze; sister, Peggy Pugh and husband, Peter of Mississippi; grandchildren, Kimberly, Justin, Kyle, Payton, Karen, Tyler, Loren, Rachel, and Catie; great-grandchildren, Clayton, Jake, Jackson, and Kaiden; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Her family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Sunday June 26, 2016 at Grace Church of Kountze. The funeral service is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Monday June 27, 2016 at Grace Church of Kountze, officiated by Reverend Ray McNames. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont.

Serving as pallbearers will be Justin Bolser, Kyle Bolser, Austin Tibbs, Alex Tibbs, Joseph Jordan, and Tyler Parker. The honorary pallbearer is Tommy Tibbs.
