Mr. Eppes,
I was so saddened to hear of Mrs. Eppes passing this morning. She was a wonderful woman. I enjoyed all of our visits. I recall the good times we had "sun tanning" in the yard following a walk, while checking out which plants she wanted watered! She always looked great. You never missed taking her to have her hair and nails done! She had a great witty sense of humor and could always make me smile. She loved you, her children, grandchildren, and Pepper with all her heart. Mr. Eppes, you were a WONDERFUL husband and took excellent care of her. I wish that I could take your sadness away. I know that she will be looking down on you from heaven. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
Love, Elizabeth
