I sure am glad I spilled a drink in his lap at Mckenzies. That's how we met and became friends. What a gentleman. I will miss you Oscar!

I am so grateful that Papa Oscar welcomed me into the family as a seven-year-old. I always felt like one of the cousins when we would make the trip to Texas. My favorite memories are drinking Shasta Cream Soda ice cold from his fridge, fishing, and the trip we all took to Virginia in the late 1980s.

Thinking of my Texas family this week, especially, wishing you peace and comfort.
