My condolences go out to the Hinson family. I did not know Mr. Hinson but through genealogy research did find out that he may very well have been my father. I was born in Houston, Texas in 1969 and put up for adoption by my biological mother who I found in Lumberton,Texas in 2019. I am sorry for your loss but it does my heart good to know he was so loved by so many. Respectfully, Joe Slawinski.

Orval, you might've been my step dad but you were so much more, you were my father. You loved us like we were your own. I miss you so much. I wish I would've told you how much I loved you.. But I think my actions spoke louder than my words would've. I can't help but miss you.

Charlotte, I was so sad to hear about Orville Lee. I had not seen him since Clyde's funeral, and had tried to get word to him about the Hinson Reunion last Oct. I know you are hurting, sweet Charlotte, but, know that I love and miss you. I will be praying for you during this time. He is with Aunt Dorothy, and so many of the family now.
