My deepest sympathy to the family. May he rest peacefully in his heavenly home.
I met this gentleman one day when he signed in at his grandsons school for lunch, he took one look at me and handed me his prayer card; I truly believe God sent him my way that day because I needed prayers . He was my God wink. He touched my heart.
I am sorry for the loss of your dear one.
Sincerely,
Angie Chilek

Heard about John's passing at church this morning! I know you will hurt as you learn to live without him, but HE is having a great time! He is talking to our Jesus face to face. He is visiting with all the saints that gone before him. I know there is a great party going on in heaven. He is singing and with no more tears, he is busy worshipping our Savior! I pray God breathe upon each of you much peace and comfort. God bless you!

John Taylor indelibly imprinted himself in my memories, and they'll stay for a lifetime. We became partners in a critical spiritual situation I had in Mississippi and he was so willing to help us out, that he and I took out together, armed to fight this spiritual attack. I came to know John during this time, and the man was something else! He kept me doubled over in laughter with his sayings, all the 400 miles to Mississippi and the 400 miles back. He taught me a lot. He was a very anointed man of God, and if you don't have a copy of his book, "Make my Life a Bible", you need to read it. He was chosen and anointed and I loved listening to his experiences. As for Ms. Connie, no better match could've been picked for him. She's his perfect soulmate. I spent a lot of time with John, and talked to him a lot over the phone, but regretfully now, I wish time and distance and work wouldn't have let me have gone this long not to take a trip over to Kountze or call him to chat and check up. I was shocked when I heard this news. I had no idea or I definitely would've taken off to Kountze to visit him a few times. I'm sad he's gone, but from all my time talking to John, I'm just sorry for myself and the family, because I'm surely not sorry for John. Boy, oh boy! John is having his experience now. Oh I'm certain where he is. And I'm certain he wouldn't come back if he could. He's finally reached his destination he talked of many, many times, and for John Taylor today, I'm happy for him. I rejoice with him, but I'm sad for me because I would've loved to have seen him just one more time before he left this earth. Ms. Connie, I'll be up to see you soon, after some time passes and after the family has time to grieve, I'll call you one day and come up for a visit. I'm so sorry I didn't know he was sick this bad. I should've checked in on Facebook more. But I'll see you soon. My deepest condolences and sympathies and prayers to you and your family. I love you and John! See you soon! Love in Christ, Heather Rice.

I truly remember Big John at DuPont, BMT and visited him at his home 30 plus years ago. He was a fine man, a man that I never forgot. Maybe it was that different voice, his large statue, his different personality, more likely his Christian attitude. RIP Big John.
