To the family of Pic Bergdorf: Mickey and I would like you to know we were saddened today to hear of the loss of your loved one. Pic and my brother, Vic Aubey, used to hang out together sometimes when they were in high school. He was older than my husband and me, but we used to enjoy visiting with him around Fannett School or at the store in Fannett. He was always such a friendly guy. I will keep your family in my prayers that you may find strength, peace and consolation at this sad time in your lives. I know the Bergdorf Family has suffered a lot of loss of family members in the last couple of years! Wow! My heart goes out to you all! Please know that I am praying God will grant Pic's soul everlasting peace and rest with Him in Heaven. Sincerely, Norma (Aubey) Lewis

My condolences to the Bergdorf family. John was a good man. I remember several years ago always running into him at Market Basket. We would talk for about hour. Ms. Ethel, my prayers are with you and your family. I love you.

We would like to express our deepest sympathies to John's Mother, his sisters " Sissy" and Lillian and other family members. There are many saddened and heavy hearts on this side of Heaven, because we will miss John in our daily lives, but just inside the Eastern Gate there is joy unspeakable and full of Glory. John is in the presence of Jesus, the one He served with all his heart. John is Happy and in no more pain. He wouldn't want to come back and we would not expect him to. One day, we will see our dear friend again. If John was your friend, you had a friend for life. If John "picked" with you, then you were a friend. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and we know that Jesus will be their comforter in the days ahead.

Trudy, there are no words to express how sad and how sorrowful our hearts are in the passing of John. We will meet him again one day just inside the Eastern Gate. What a joyful meeting that will be. In the mean time we will truly miss our dear friend. We had many great times together and so many wonderful memories. We love you and we will be here for you during your difficult days ahead.
