Jesus Garcia DeLeon, Sr.

Jesus Garcia DeLeon, Sr., 75, passed away on Tuesday March 24, 2015. He was a good man who always attended church on Sunday. He was very helpful and always willing to lend a hand. He was a painter and he passed his craft onto his sons.

He is preceded in Death by his parents, Alberto and Petra DeLeon; 3 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

He is survived by his wife, Maria Gonzalez DeLeon; sons, Jesus Deleon, Jr., Rick DeLeon, Rigobeto DeLeon, Albert DeLeon, Javier DeLeon, Joel DeLeon and Rumaldo DeLeon; daughters, Maria Almaraz, Gloria DeLeon, Aurora Jimenez and Rosabell DeLeon; brothers, Ruben DeLeon, Alberto DeLeon and Jose DeLeon; sisters, NinFa DeLeon and Estella Ambriz; 41 grandchildren and 50 great grandchildren.

His family will receive friends at Lumberton Family Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary Service scheduled for 6:00 p.m. on Thursday March 26, 2015.  A Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on Friday March 27, 2015 at Cristo Rey Catholic Church in Beaumont, officiated by Reverend Luis Urriza. Interment will follow at Magnolia Cemetery in Beaumont.

Serving as pallbearers will be his sons, Rick DeLeon, Rigobeto Deleon, Albert DeLeon, Javier DeLeon, Joel DeLeon and Rumaldo DeLeon.
