I grew up calling this man "Uncle Charles". He was not my uncle by blood, but through love. I used to love to go to Aunt Jean and Uncle Charles' house to visit, whether it was with the Okun Bunch, or with Verna. Speaking of Verna: Charles was one man she had the utmost love and respect for. He treated her kindly, as if she were truly family.
Jean, Charla, Calvin, Rene, and all the grandkids, I am so very sorry for your loss. I'm sure Heaven is having one big ole celebration with him, Odie, Loretta, Faye, and Verna all together!

Charles, I will miss you. Im glad I got to visit you in your final days. Ill miss your Paw Mac stories but most of all your jokes and your help when I needed it in the alternator shop. I love you Buddy

Jean: Diane and I fondly remember the days we all had at Denman. Charles was the kindest person who always had a smile on his face and loved people. He always talked to me and we had great conversations. We were blessed and grateful for knowing both of you.
