Bobby Glyn Davison

Bobby Glyn Davison, 69, of Buna, passed away Saturday, April 23, 2016.  He was an avid outdoorsman where he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and horseback riding.  Bobby grew up in a small town in Arkansas and always loved to travel, he saw many states and beautiful places, such as the Grand Canyon.  He enjoyed going to festivals, re-enactments, rodeos and anything to do with horses.  Bobby was a bit of a jokester and had a great sense of humor, he would joke with his brothers about who was the better hunter or fisherman.  He enjoyed spending time with his family and telling a good story.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Virgil and Mable Davison and daughter, Latrece Davison.

He is survived by his children, Robert Davison and wife, Melissa of Beaumont, Brian Davison of Beaumont and Jill Romero and husband Norbert Romero, Jr. of Beaumont; siblings Ann Ferrell of Arden, North Carolina, Mary Gifford of Michigan City, Indiana, Ruby Rousey of Springfield, Illinois, Kenneth Davison of Saint Joseph, Michigan, Edward Davison, Michigan City of Indiana, Sue Safirt of Michigan City, Indiana, and grandson, Tre’ Romero of Beaumont and numerous nieces and nephews and a lifetime of friends.

His family will receive friends at Lumberton Family Funeral Home Thursday, April 28, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.  The funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Friday April, 29, 2016 at Lumberton Family Funeral Home, officiated by Kenneth Davison.  Interment will be at Antioch Cemetery in Buna.

Serving as pallbearers will be Norbert Romero, Jr., Kenneth Franks, Shane LeFlore, Doug Guidry, Terry Granger, and Gregg Harbison, Honorary Edward Davison.
