ArnieTevis lived in my neighborhood when he was young in the North End of Beaumont. He was the handsome cousin of my friend, Mary Nell Harris. He was funny, friendly and his eyes crinkled when he smiled. My friend, Paula and I walked home past their house and we were proud to live near the family of one of the founders of the settlement that later became Beaumont. (We learned from our librarian). But mostly we just thought he was cute. He seems to have lived a richly blessed life. God's blessings to you who grieve.
