Alan (Fatman) was my uncle, although he was only one month older than me. As kids, I was always taller than him. I bet he didn't like that. I wasn't around him as we grew into adulthood, but I remember him as a very quiet boy with a smile on his face. He was ALWAYS so sweet. I know his family will miss him so much. I hope he didn't suffer. I love my Whitmire heritage. I'm very sad and pray for your comfort and peace.

What a Great Man! I met him through my father N Law, Floyd Lanclos. He was the kindest, most giving person. He helped my husband, Chris, through one of the worst times ever, that was losing his dad, Floyd. Alan and Floyd were very good friends and saw each other almost every day. He shared with Chris how much he missed his dad. Chris had really gotten close to Allen, especially after he lost his dad. I spoke with him on the phone a few days ago when Chris was at his house, I never would have thought that would be the last time. You will be missed So Very Much by Chris and I! We Love You! ....sending prayers to your family and all the people who loved you! Kristy Lanclos
