John N. Bergdorf

John Norman Bergdorf, 74, of Beaumont, passed away Saturday, March 21, 2015. He was a member of Victory Temple where he served as an usher for many years. He enjoyed fishing and getting together with friends and members of his church. He was very close to his friends and family.

He is preceded in death by his father, Cleveland “Pick” Bergdorf; brother, James Cleveland Bergdorf and sister, Ruth Ellen Bergdorf.

He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Trudy Bergdorf of Beaumont; mother, Ethel Dupree Bergdorf of Fannett; sisters, Betty Bergdorf Blaylock and husband Bill of Beaumont and Lillian Hebert of Fannett; numerous nieces and nephews and his little dog, Scooter.

His family will receive friends at Victory Temple in Beaumont from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday March 24, 2015. The funeral service is scheduled for Wednesday March 25, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Victory Temple, officiated by Reverend Robert Turnage. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
