Toribio "Toby" Cabalero Galvan

Toribio “Toby” Cabalero Galvan, age 76, of Lumberton, passed away on Monday, July 24, 2023. He was born in Goliad, TX, on April 16, 1947, to Ramon and Estefano Cabalero Galvan.

Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife, Cindy Galvan of Lumberton, TX; sons, Toby Hernandez Jr. and wife, Donna, of Sealy, TX, Marcus Galvan and wife Maritsa, of Ocala, FL, Tim Stillman and wife, Jennifer, of Lumberton, TX; daughters, Krystal Michele Crowe and husband, Casey, of Crystal River, FL, Angelina “Angie” Conklin and husband, Christopher, of Lumberton, TX, Jessica Garling and husband, Shawn, of Hornell, NY, Patti Easley and husband, Jon, of Lumberton, TX; 20 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchild; as well as many extended family members, friends, and loved ones.

Preceding him in death are his parents; daughter, Rebecca Ann Galvan; and brothers, Domingo Galvan, Joe Basuldua, Mike Rivera, and Juan Galvan.

Visitation for family and friends will be Saturday, July 29, 2023, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., at Journey Community Church. Toby’s life honoring funeral service will follow, beginning at 2:00 p.m., with Elder Buddy officiating.
