Thomas Everett Allen, 81, of Lumberton, passed away on Tuesday, August 11, 2026. He was born on November 25, 1944, in Vivian, LA, to Wilburn and Ruby Howlett Allen.
Everett served in the United States Navy from 1963 to 1967 aboard an ammunition ship. He was a devoted family man, a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather whose warmth and guidance shaped generations. Everett found joy in the outdoors, especially in hunting and fishing, where he felt most at peace. He will be remembered for his loyalty, his quiet strength, and the love he shared so freely. His legacy lives on in his family and in the countless memories made along the way.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Susan Allen; son, Andre Dupuis; daughter, Kristen Sparks and husband, Jimmy; grandchildren, Shay Wilcox, Coby Wilcox, Madeline Breaux, Collin Allen, Jayden Dupuis, and Meadow Dupuis; great-grandchildren, Karrson Wilcox, Greyson Wilcox, and Everett Breaux; and a host of extended family, friends, and loved ones.
Preceding Everett in death are his parents; son, Lee Allen; brother, Kenneth Allen; sister, Sarah Allen; and great-granddaughter, Makayla Wilcox.
The family would like to extend their special thanks to the Gentiva Hospice and Home Health team. And an extra special thanks to our loving caregiver, Jasmine.
