Terry Lavelle Fuller

Terry Lavelle Fuller, 58, passed away at his home in Beaumont on Saturday, October 17, 2020.

Born in Shreveport, LA to Lloyd Lavelle Fuller and Opal Elaine Henderson, Terry was on one of six children. The first thing that comes to mind when speaking of Terry is always his dedication to his family and how much he loved his children. A family man in the truest sense of the word, Terry made his children a top priority in his life taking them everywhere from softball games and to the gym for time spent training, to hunting and fishing and even archery first with his son and then later his daughter. Working out and training was a passion of Terry’s and led him to open his own gym for a large part of his adult career; inspiring others to a healthier lifestyle and helping them achieve goals in fitness or sports was a matter of pride for Terry. When pursuing his true passion in the fitness world became impossible following back surgery in 2015, Terry began working in chemical plants where his dedicated work ethic again helped him to be well liked and successful. A tough but funny guy, Terry loved to give others a hard time and had a heart of gold that meant he would truly do anything he could for those he cared about. Happy hours spent in laughter and comradery over games with friends and family will certainly be missed; but Terry’s legacy of dedication and love will not soon be forgotten.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Tonya Fuller; son, Shane Lloyd Fuller of Houston, TX; his daughters, Macie Anne Fuller and Stephanie Tate of Beaumont, TX; his brothers, Tony Wayne Calhoun and wife Dawn of Sibley, LA, Roger Dale and wife Ella Russell of Silsbee, TX; his sisters, Mona Cheramie and husband Ronnie of Golden Meadow, LA, Pat Askew, Sabrina Baisdon and husband Randy of Beaumont, TX.

Terry is preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Opal Fuller; his brother, Shelby Gene and wife Frankie Arthur and brother in law David Carl Askew.

A life honoring memorial visitation will be held at Lumberton Family Funeral Home, 766 S Main St Lumberton, TX 77657, on Monday, October 26, 2020 from 6:00-8:00PM.
