Steven Mitchell Qualls
Steven Mitchell Qualls passed away on January 30, 2019. He was born on June 27, 1990 to Frances Earline Sims in Beaumont, TX.
“The bluest, sky blue eyes you have ever seen.” Steven was a pure hearted man, regardless of life’s trials, his love for people was never diminished. His country accent was as thick as it gets but that only attracted more people to him. He had a spirit of generosity and kindness that was unmatched; although he never had a lot, he was always willing to give what he had to someone else. The mention of fried chicken and enchiladas from Casa Ole could spark a glimmer in his eyes. He had a genuine love for life and a compassion to those partaking in life with him, especially babies and the elderly, their innocence and purity gave him hope. Steven loved the Lord and attended church as often as possible. Though he faced adverse circumstances he never lost his love for God or people and he will be missed tremendously by many friends and family.
He is survived by his loving mother, Frances Sims; son, Levi Hutto; grandparents, Thelma Clowers, Bert and Peggy Qualls; brother, David Wayne Qualls; aunts, Debra Flores and husband, John, Aunt Sissy and husband, Wayne; uncles, Floyd and wife, Kim, John Starke, Bert Qualls.
He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Bo Jack Starke and uncle, David Wayne Starke.
