Stephen Arnold Griffin

Stephen Arnold Griffin, age 65, of Lumberton, was born December 13, 1954 in Port Acres to his parents, Paulette Dubre Bullard and Herman Dale Griffin and passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 13, 2020.

Although Stephen was an only child, he grew up in a large, boisterous family, being raised alongside his seven cousins, whom he considered his siblings. Raised in Port Acres by his grandparents, MawMaw and PawPaw Griffin, it was here that his long list of hobbies began. Known to be stubborn on occasion, he was a hard worker, a devoted family man, and a truly amazing father. He cherished the time spent at the lake with his family or riding horses. Stephen could also find distraction indoors with his favorite football team, the Dallas Cowboys, or a good baseball game. Stephen’s loving support and companionship will be deeply missed especially by his devoted wife, Dana.

Left to remember Stephen is his loving wife, Dana Terro Griffin; his children: Stephen John Griffin, Lainey Elizabeth Griffin, and Chase Anthony Griffin and fiance Brooke Choate; his siblings: Sheila Arnold, Mary Cain, Debbie Headrick, Robbie Griffin, Billy Joe Griffin, and Pam Deviller; his loving aunt and uncle, Gloria and Robin Griffin; as well as numerous loved ones and friends. 

Preceding Stephen is death are his parents, Herman Dale Griffin and Paulette Dubre Bullard.
