Stanley Kevin Hoffpauir passed away May 20, 2021. He was born on November 4, 1960 in Beaumont Texas to Stanley Paul Hoffpauir and Elizabeth Jeanette Hoffpauir.
Stanley Hoffpauir was a man that could best be described as a gentle giant. Although his towering stature could be intimidating, he was one of the most compassionate and kind people you could meet. As a child, Stanley was quiet and reserved, his older sister Debbie would always look out for him and answer questions when he was too shy to respond. He could often be found spending time with his buddies playing pool and jamming out to loud music. Whether he was in his car or a garage the music was always at full blast, which his mother would blame for his hearing loss. Stanley cherished the holidays he spent with his family, Christmas and Thanksgiving were especially favorites of his, due undoubtedly to all the amazing food. Stanley was a man of many talents and found great aptitude in any hobby he gained interest in, such as beekeeping, camping, tinkering with electronics, and making beautiful jewelry. He was a proud member of First Baptist Church in Beaumont, where he used his talents as a vocalist in the choir. Stanley loved his family, he loved good food, and he loved music. He was a caring and gentle man, who is loved deeply by those who knew him, and he will not be soon forgotten.
Left to cherish his memory is his sister Marcelite “Marcie” Kay Lynd, and niece Chrystal Dixon.
Preceding him in death are his parents, Stanley and Elizabeth Hoffpauir; and sister Deborah Glenn Hoffpauir.
A memorial service honoring Kevin’s life will be held on Friday, June 11, 2021 beginning at 11:00AM at Lumberton Family Funeral Home.
