Stacy Ann Allen, age 56, of Kountze, passed away on Friday, November 8, 2024. She was born in Kountze, TX, on November 27, 1967, to Jack and Ruby Joyce Lee.
Whomever she loved, whatever she did, she gave her all. Her constitution was love and beauty, within and without, and none knew this better than her family. Loved and cared for by many, she was protective and supportive, especially when it came to her daughter, Taylor. Becoming friends first with a young man, Shane, there was a spark that began, smoldering with time and becoming a sustained and tender joining of their hearts and souls. He first proposed to Stacy, and then to Taylor, kneeling once more to ask to be a lasting part of their lives. Both said yes, and on August 3, 2002, they became a family. As Shane's "Sweetpea", Stacy was a sassy angel, the perfect harmony of toughness and sweetness; she was 5' 3", when she was sleeping, and 6' 8" when she was awake. If her mind was determined and focused, she intended to make sure any obstacle was overcome, and any tasks were accomplished (even if Shane had to do the work). A hard worker, she was beloved where she worked, going above and beyond for coworkers and customers. She supported her daughter in everything, never missing an opportunity to be at an event or function. Just a short six months ago, she proudly earned the moniker of "G-ma", when she was blessed with her granddaughter, Macie. Stacy loved God, fully and wholly, and though she struggled physically with sickness, it drew her closer to the Lord and gave her peace through the storms. Stacy’s legacy is one of boundless love, strength, and unwavering faith. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Left to honor her memory is her beloved husband, Shane Allen; favorite daughter, Taylor McFarlin and husband, Chad; brothers, James Lee and wife, Becky, Gary Hendrix and wife, Brenda, Jimmy Hendrix and wife, Jennifer, Harvey Hendrix and wife, Hope, and Charles Lee and wife, Donna, and Elgin Lee; sister, Gloria Denice Fletcher and husband, Michael; favorite granddaughter, Macie Rae McFarlin; best friends, Betty Zernial and Brandi Chapman; and a host of extended family, friends, and loved ones.
Preceding Stacy in death are her parents; brothers, David Lee, Jerry Lee, Keith Hendrix, and Ricky Hendrix; and sisters, Sandra Hill and Kathy Walton.
Visitation for family and friends will be Saturday, November 16, 2024, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., at First Baptist Church, 1206 S. Main St., Lumberton, TX 77657. Stacy’s life honoring memorial service will begin at 2:00 p.m., also at the church, with Pastor Blaine McFarlin officiating.
