Mrs. Sandra Lou (Evans) Williford, 77, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 4, 2020. Sandra was born on April 13, 1943 in Madill, OK to Anna and OT Evans.
Sandra grew up an only child, much loved by her parents and truly valued the relationship she had with them. A true feisty redheaded woman, Sandra had an impeccable memory for anything she cared to remember, and although she was selective about doling out her knowledge at times- she remained sharp as a tac her entire life never missing a birthday for any family member and never needing a calendar to recall any special days or events. Sandra had many hobbies over her long life, including a passion for reading, a love to garden when she could, fishing and even hunting when her boys were younger. A good traditional western movie was always something that could grab Sandra’s attention, and according to her boys she’s seen everyone ever made at least a hundred times. It is well known that Sandra had three great loves in her life- her children, her grandchildren, and her saltshaker. While those of us left here to remember her will miss her dearly, it is a comfort to know that she is happily with her beloved parents whom she cared for so dearly all her life.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Benjamin “Ben” Williford; her sons, Wesley West and wife Patricia of Buna, and Lance West and wife Patsy of Vidor; her three step-children; her twin sister, Wanda; her grandchildren: Kristi Uribe and husband James, Casey West and fiancé Jacob Palmer, Carley Young and husband Chad, Amanda Lindow and husband Daniel, Nitasha Kennon, and Darla Duhon and husband Marcus; her great-grandchildren: Bri, Jax, Noah, Tripp, Brantley, and Landyn; and numerous extended family members and friends.
Preceding Sandra in death are her parents, Anna Frances Evan and OT Evan.
