Sandra Kay Mallet Brammer, 59, of Nederland, passed away on Saturday, January 16, 2021. Sandra was born May 1, 1961 in Winnie, Texas to Emmett and Carolyn Mallet and was the only daughter of their five children. Growing up with four brothers probably contributed to Sandra’s ability to care so well for others and to be strong above everything else. A capable and graceful single mother to her two sons, Eddie and Brandon, Sandra made sure that her boys always had an ally, friend, confidant, supporter and cheerleader in their corner. While she weathered many tough times, Sandra did so with a grace and poise that set an example for her sons and those around her on what beauty under fire looked like. Spending time soaking up sun on the beach with a Danielle Steele novel in her hand or riding behind her beloved fiancé Alvin on their Harley, regardless of the activity Sandra’s beautiful smile was always quick to flash. Sandra, Pattie, and Becky made a trio of women not to be trifled with when these best friends got together- from enjoying Becky’s multitalented skills in music to laughing about the latest news, these ladies supported each other throughout their lives. Always having a positive word for those around her, Sandra truly was someone others wanted to be around. In the last decade, Sandra was blissfully happy to have shared her life and family with her fiancé Alvin who just brightened and bettered her life each day. This faith driven woman was the best person to call when you needed advice or if you simply wanted to share a fried bologna sandwich. Her easy demeanor and loving nature will not soon be forgotten, and she will be deeply missed.

Left to cherish her memory is her son, Eddie Brammer Jr. and wife Dustie of Weatherford and granddaughter Ellis Ann Brammer; her son, Brandon Brammer and partner Bernie Lofaso Jr. of Austin; her brothers, Kenny Mallet and wife Glenda of Burkeville, Jimmy Mallet of Burkeville and Bobby Mallet of Jefferson; her fiancé, Alvin Breaux of Nederland, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, Emmett Mallet and Carolyn Klecka; and her brother, Danny Mallet.

To celebrate Sandra’s life and legacy the family and friends will gather for a memorial service on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at Port Neches Park under the Pavilion at 11:00 AM for a time of fellowship and sharing.
