Ronald Parrish

Our beloved Ronald Dee Parrish went home to be with his lord and savior June 27, 2021. He was an exceptionally bright light and the world seems a little darker with his passing. He had a deep and real love for people in his life. He was a man no one will ever forget. He was born January 1, 1941 in Vernon, Texas along beside his twin brother Richard Lee Parrish. They had 18 years together and now have been reunited after 63 years. He was a devoted husband, father, son and friend. He was born to James Robert (Jake) Parrish and Evelyn Greening Parrish. He is preceded in death by his wife of 47 years Sue McKaskle Parrish, his loving parents and his twin brother Richard Lee. He is survived by his son Richard Parrish and wife Debra of Woodville, Texas. His daughter Stephanie McWilliams and husband Jeff of Vidor, Texas. Brothers Red Parrish, Jimmy Parrish and Sisters Nelda Bates and husband Dale, Nancy Smith and husband Billy. Grandkids are Krysten Smith, Katarina Parrish, Natalie Granger, Jordan McWilliams, Justin McWilliams, Jami Canant, Courtney Murphy, Charlene Liva, Maegan Yust. 15 Great grandchildren and 1 Great Great granddaughter. Numerous nieces and nephews and extended family and beloved friends.

A visitation will be held for Ron on Wednesday June 30, 2021 from 5:00 pm to 7:oo pm at Lumberton Family Funeral Home 766 S. Main st Lumberton TX 77657. A funeral service will be held on Thursday July 1, 2021 10:00 AM at Lumberton Family Funeral Home 766 S. Main st Lumberton TX 77657, with internment to follow.
