Robert Ezernack Obituary

Mr. Robert Earl Ezernack, 89, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 22, 2020.

Robert was born in Zwolle, LA on April 2, 1930 to Tom Ezernack and Claudia "Etheridge" Ezernack. He was brought up in the depression, and was raised in a farming family, a hard-working man from even his early years. After his father passed away when he was a teenager, Robert dropped out of school and went to work to provide for his family, and soon after served in the U.S Army. One of his proudest career accomplishments was owning his own logging business. Robert was known by those around him for always helping those in need and was well loved by all who knew him. He loved spending time outdoors and never missed the opportunity to hunt, fish, or work in his garden as long as he could.

The family would like to specially thank Randy and Barbara Etheridge for their devoted care to Robert.

Left to cherish his memory is his daughter, June Festervan and husband Wes of Stonewall, LA; brothers, Wayne Ezernack and wife Brenda of Noble, LA, John Ezernack of Zwolle, LA, Joseph Ezernack and wife Joyce of Hemphill, TX, 5 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; and cousin Randy Etheridge and wife Barbara of Kountze, TX.

Robert is preceded in death by his parents, Tom Nelson Ezernack and Claudia "Etheridge" Ezernack; wife, Agnes "Procell" Ezernack; brothers, Michael Ezernack, Roudolph Ezernack, Melvin Ezernack, James Ezernack; sister-in-law, Cleo Ezernack; and sisters, Loree Ezernack Esters and Lebell Campbell.
