Reginia "Gen" Reeves

Reginia “Gen” Reeves, age 96, of Beaumont, TX, passed away on Saturday, June 22, 2024. She was born in Buna, TX, on November 27, 1927, to J.T. and Alma Dunn Reeves.

After 39 years, 6 months and 13 days, Gen retired from Southwestern Bell. She loved to sew, cook, and work in the yard. She loved her flowers, and at one point even had over one hundred pot plants! Gen was known as a caregiver for everybody and would sacrifice her comfort for those she loved. She will be greatly missed.

Left to cherish her memory are her nieces and nephews, Carolyn Rohde, Becky Dauriac, Ron Spell, Dave Spell, Mary Francis Smith, Barbara Foreman, Alleen Neeley, Terry Garsee, and Wanda Callahan, as well as many great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death are her parents; brothers, R.V. Reeves, Vivian Reeves, and Jesse Powell Reeves; and sisters, Gwen Garsee, Mavis Spell, Chris Whitmire, and Margie Reeves.
