Patricia Lorene (Halliburton) McKnight

Patricia Lorene (Halliburton) McKnight, 60, of Beaumont, passed away on Thursday, May 26, 2022. Patricia was born in Houston, Texas on Wednesday, October 4, 1961, to Rudolph and Mary Halliburton. Patricia was one of eight children and grew up with family as a central focus of her life from a young age. Like her own mother, Patricia was also a caretaker which was a tough and rewarding job for her that allowed her to share the abundance of love and compassion she had for others during some individual’s hardest moments. A loving and devoted mother of five herself, family truly was at the center of everything important to Patricia. She shared a special and defining relationship with each of her children and despite being a single mother for most of their lives, she provided a loving home and safe space for her children to grow into the adults she was so proud of. The trials of Patricia’s life and even her chosen career was often eased by the love and faith she found in her Lord; a woman of deep faith Patricia often spread the gospel wherever she could and was a faithful supporter of John Osteen’s Ministries and then Joel Osteen’s Ministries with Lakewood Ministries for many years. Outgoing and rarely meeting a stranger, Patricia enjoyed being around others and was always ready to make a new friend. Patricia’s impact on those she cared for and those around her will not soon be forgotten, and she will be deeply missed by those who knew her.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Elizabeth Lorene Allen and husband Justin with their children Zowie and Cashe; her son, Samuel Drysdale; her daughter Katherine Cairnie and husband Ross with their children Harrison and Renly; her daughter Meagan McKnight; her daughter, Cheyenne McKnight with her daughter Braylee; her siblings: Mary Sue Halliburton, Jenny Condray, Judy Halliburton, and Sharon Halliburton; as well as numerous patients, loved ones, extended family members, church family, and friend through the years.

Patricia is preceded in death by her parents, her brother Stanley Halliburton, and her sister Cynthia “Trudy” Bowen.

To honor Patricia’s life, a memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 15, 2022, beginning at 2:00 P.M. at Lumberton Family Funeral Home (766 S. Main St., Lumberton, TX 77657).
