Opal Dale Stroud, age 80, of Woodville, TX, passed away on Thursday, February 29, 2024. She was born on January 1, 1944, in Cleveland, TX, to Olan Cotton and Ola Dale Shultz.

Left to honor her memory are her sons, Curtis “Manns” Stroud Jr. of Woodville, TX, Shannon Dale Stroud and wife, Pamatha, of Lumberton, TX, and Shawn Lee Stroud of Woodville, TX; daughters, Stephanie Ann Flanigan of Cleveland, TX, Sharon Ann Stroud and husband, Robert McNeal of Woodville, TX, and Cristy Renee Stroud of Woodville, TX; grandchildren, Micheal Lynn Stroud, Dillon Stroud, Samantha Stroud, Nicole Stroud, John Flanigan, Patricia Flanigan, Mary Ellen Flanigan, and Amanda Flanigan.

Preceding Opal in death are her parents; her husband, Curtis Monroe Stroud Sr.; son, Michael “Runt” Lynn Stroud; brother, Buddy Cotton; sister; Mary Frances Covach; and son-in-law, John Flanigan.

Cremation has been entrusted to Lumberton Family Funeral Home.
