Nervey Alene Moncrief

Nervey Alene Moncrief, age 63, passed away on Thursday, December 12, 2024. She was born on September 18, 1961, in Kountze, TX, to Harvey and Dorothy Cravey Gore.

Left to honor her memory are her sons, Douglas Moncrief and wife, Pam, David Moncrief and wife, Nicole, and Billy Joe “B.J” Moncrief and wife, Teresa; brothers, Harvey Gore and wife, Lisa, Donnie Jenkins and wife, Hope, and Ronnie Jenkins and wife, Rose; sister, Peggy Reid and Mary “Poopsie” Colley and husband, Randall; grandchildren, Christopher, Shayla, Jethro, John, Max, and Wrenley; and a host of extended family, friends, and loved ones.

Preceding Alene in death are her parents; husband, Hubert William "Billy" Moncrief; brother, Richard “Tino” Gore; and sister, Harvey Nell Jenkins.

Visitation for family and friends will be on Saturday, December 14, 2024, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., at First Pentecostal Church of Fred. Alene’s life honoring funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., Sunday, December 15, 2024, also at the church, with interment to follow at Fred Community Cemetery, Fred, TX.
