Myreeta Joyce Worley

Myreeta Joyce Worley, age 80, of Kountze, TX, passed away at her home on Sunday, January 21, 2024. She was born in Fountain Hill, Arkansas, on January 17, 1944, to Milton and Ruby White Gifford.

 Myreeta worked construction with Gary for years and loved to visit new places as long as they could drive there. She was an avid quilter, reader, and crocheted often. She loved working with plants and watching the birds. They attended Green Hill Baptist Church for many years.

Left to honor her memory is her son, Gary Wayne Worley and wife, Elizabeth; grandsons, Stephen Worley and Chase Carlson; granddaughters, Stephanie, Stacy, and Tina Worley; 8 great-grandchildren; brother-in-laws, Dennis Worley and wife, Dina of OK and Craig Worley of KS; sister-in-law, Maria Worley of KS; as well as many, many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She is reunited in Heaven with her husband of 52 years, Gary F. Worley; her parents; children, William and Teresa; siblings, Kenny, Betty, Amy, Maureen, and J.W.; and brother-in-law, David Worley.
