Michelle Nance Mathis

Michelle LeAnne Mathis, age 50, of Silsbee, passed away on Friday, August 4, 2023. She was born in Beaumont, TX, on February 28, 1973, to Robert Brunner, and Deborah Kilcrease Nance.

Left to cherish her memory is her son, Leonard “Len” Williams Jr. and wife, Naleigh; daughter, Veronica Findley and husband Dustin “Shaggy”; brothers, Randy Nance and wife, Melissa, Larry “Gene” Nance and fiancée, Melissa, Jake Arrendondo, and Mike Brunner; sister, Cindy Burgess; grandchildren, Natalie, David, Ryan, Aria, and Gabriella; as well as many extended family members, friends, and loved ones.

Preceding Michelle in death are her parents, Larry and Debbie Nance; her beloved husband, Gary Mathis Jr.; and granddaughter, Mila.

Visitation for family and friends will be Tuesday, August 8, 2023, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at Lumberton Family Funeral Home. Michelle’s life honoring funeral will be Wednesday, August 9, 2023, at Lumberton Family Funeral Home, at 10:00 a.m., officiated by Bro, Joe Hinson. Interment will follow at R.S. Farmer Memorial Cemetery.
