Michael Bryant Jr. Obituary

Michael "Mikey" Allen Bryant Jr., 42, of Lumberton, passed away on Friday, May 15, 2026. He was born on March 8, 1984, in Beaumont, TX.

Mikey Bryant was a big-hearted, hardworking man who dedicated his life to the people he loved. Every day, he worked to provide for his family, and when he wasn’t working, he was spending time with his friends and the people he cared about most. No matter what was going on in his own life, he was always the first person willing to help someone else. Whether you were family, a friend, or even a stranger, Mike would always find a way to lend a hand and make your life a little easier. He was strong-willed, loyal, strong, and deeply valued the time he spent with the people around him. His children and grandchildren were the light of his life, and he loved them with everything he had. He was proud of his family and never missed an opportunity to tell the world about the people he loved most.

To many people, Mikey could seem like a big, tough, intimidating man- and could be when he needed to be- but behind that was a man with an enormous heart… and a foul mouth to match. He was the kind of person who could make an entire room laugh without even trying. He was the friend you could call for anything, at any time, and he would show up without hesitation. He was always full of laughter and life. You couldn’t cry around him for long without him trying to make you laugh or telling you to “Suck it up, buttercup.” Some people may have thought he was crazy, but the truth is, Mikey just lived life the only way he knew how-fully, loudly, unapologetically, and with a heart bigger than most people could ever understand.

Mikey leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, generosity, laughter, and unwavering devotion to his family and friends. He will be deeply missed and forever loved by everyone lucky enough to know him.

Left to honor his memory are his sons, Michael Allen Bryant III, Braylon Bryant, Hunter Bryant, Raymond Budde, and Brandon Pritchard; daughters, Jaylynn Bryant and husband, Cody, Carlee Ramos, Kaliee Budde, and Skylynn Pritchard; fiancée, Rachel Bryant; sister, Amber Dowden and husband, Keven; grandchildren, Nova Mae, Sky’Lynn, Maddox Lane and Ethan Lane; nephew, Triston; and a host of extended family, friends, and loved ones.

Preceding Mikey in death are his parents, Michael Allen Bryant Sr. and Deborah Jones; and brother, Willis Bryant.
