Michael Glynn Barker, age 60, of Lumberton, passed away on Tuesday, March 3, 2026. He was born on May 21, 1965 in Houston, TX.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Valerie Barker; daughters, Brittany Gaedchens and husband, Jonathan and Kaitlyn Walker and husband, Colby; brothers, Pat Jr., Gerald, and Roger; sisters, Cheryl Ann and Bonnie; grandchildren, Madelynn, Carter, and Lilly; cousin, Dean Vassar; and a host of extended family, friends, and loved ones.

Preceding Michael in death are his parents, Pat Cheek and Nettie Dean Cheek; brothers, Nickey Joe and Billy; and sisters Debbie and Vicky.

Visitation for family and friends will be on Sunday, March 8, 2026 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., at Lumberton Family Funeral Home.
