Melvin Joseph Trahan

Melvin Joseph Trahan, age 86, passed away on Tuesday, September 13, 2022. Melvin was born in Port Arthur on October 13, 1935 and raised by his parents, Cleomere Trahan and Marse Cormier.

Left to honor his memory is his beloved wife, Catherine Turner Trahan; son, Jason Henry Trahan and wife Ashley; daughter, Bealynda Walsh and husband Michael; brother, Clifford James Trahan and wife Pearl; grandchildren, Cole Cowart and wife Hillary, Katie Isreal and husband Dylan, Ellie Trahan; and great-grandchild, Layken Cowart, as well as a host of extended family and friends.

Melvin was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Paul Trahan; and sister, Mary Ann Richard.

Cremation has been entrusted to Lumberton Family Funeral Home.
