Mellissa Ann Loftin

Mellissa Ann Loftin, age 52, of Silsbee, passed away on Friday, May 29, 2026. She was born in August 23, 1973, in Bogalusa, LA.

A woman of deep faith and a heart full of love, she loved Jesus, family, and Coca-Cola. She was raised in church, read her Bible faithfully, and shared scripture with others whenever she could. Her favorite saying, “Good Lord’s willing,” reflected the trust she carried throughout her life. Mellissa blessed everyone with her beautiful smile and unforgettable laugh. She found joy in being outdoors. Whether drinking her morning coffee on the porch or tending her garden, she felt most at peace outside. Her kindness, wisdom, and warmth will be deeply missed. Mellissa’s legacy of faith and love will continue to shine in the hearts of all who knew her.

Left to cherish her memory is her son, Logan Kyle Loftin; daughter, Barbara Chyenne Loftin; brothers, Aaron Marie and wife, Jennifer, Travis Marie Jr. and wife, Victoria, and Mark Marie; grandchildren, Travis Loftin and Carson Rose; sister-in-law, Brandy Joe Marie; and a host of extended family, friends, and loved ones.

Visitation for family and friends will be Monday, June 8, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at Harmony Church, 4685 Hwy 12, Vidor, TX 77662. Mellissa's life honoring funeral will begin at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at Harmony Church, 4685 Hwy 12, Vidor, TX 77662. Interment will follow at Marie Cemetery in Jasper County, Texas.
