May Louise Young, age 68, of Kountze, TX, passed away on Friday, October 4, 2024. She was born in Beaumont, TX, on August 7, 1956, to Salvador Raymond and Eldres Marion Smith LoCicero.
She was known for her intelligence and tough spirit, and though small in stature she did not allow this to stifle her work ethic, often taking jobs in physically demanding fields. Possessing what would often be attributed as stubbornness, in May it was a testament to her unwavering spirit and determination. May had a deep passion for reading, and she found immense joy in the works of Stephen King. She often had his books on a loop, finding comfort and excitement in the pages of his stories. Her memory will remain in the hearts of her loved ones.
Left to honor her memory are her sons, John Wesley Ferguson and wife, Veronica, and Jason Paul Ferguson and wife, Misty; brother, Allen Locicero and wife, Kathleen; grandchildren, Emma, Ethan, Bella, and Blake; and numerous extended family, friends, and loved ones.
Preceding May in death are her parents.
