Mary Francis “Spriggs” Miller, 69, of Silsbee, passed away on Thursday, May 13, 2021.Mary was born in Moultrie, GA on September 12, 1951 to William Spriggs and Laura Odom. Mary was one of eight children growing up in Cabbage Town in Southeast Atlanta. Mary lived in Georgia until the late 70’s when she moved to Texas where she would find the love of her life, Leon Miller. Leon and Mary were married February 1, 1980 and spent a beautiful 42 years together. Like any good southern woman, Mary loved her family, her home cooked meals and making memories with those she loved. A wonderful mother to her two daughters, Brandi and Heather and a devoted Mimi to her grandbabies- Mary was truly the core of her family. Hard working and determined to achieve so many things, Mary returned to school at the age of 40 and got a degree in Accounting and Computer Technology. When not conquering the working world, Mary was usually found working on some craft project from scrapbooking to jewelry and Angel Pins (which Leon helped with a lot!). To know Mary was to know a kind woman with a love for life and she will be truly missed by all those around her.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Robert Miller; her daughters, Brandi Miller and Heather Miller; her siblings, Diane Spriggs, Charles Spriggs, Bobby Spriggs, Annette Spriggs, and Vera Spriggs; and her granddaughter, Kaelyn Dominguez.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Bill Spriggs and Laura Odom; and her brothers, Carlton Spriggs and Andy Eugene Spriggs.
