Makaylynn Galow Obituary

Makaylynn Marie Galow, 14, of Port Arthur, went home to be with Jesus on Monday, November 16, 2020. Makaylynn was born in Port Arthur to Gene Kennedy Galow and Ashley Marie Gamble, and was lovingly raised by her grandparents Rodney Lynn Bailey and Cathy Klutts Bailey. The first thing you probably noticed about Makaylynn was her beautiful smile; it lit up every room she was in. There was not a person who met Makaylynn that didn’t fall in love with her sweet little heart and captivating smile; no words were needed for her to spread her special brand of love and joy into the world with every person she came into contact with. Makaylynn spent her whole life with compassionate and loving caregivers beside her, from her grandparents to the multitude of nursing and hospital staff that made her daily life so much better, she was always surrounded by loving hands. To see more of her trademark smiles, all you needed to do was put on her favorite movie Frozen or turn up “Let It Go” and she would let go with her mega-watt smile. No amount of words will truly express the love and light of the Lord that shone through Makaylynn every second of her beautiful little life, but all who knew her will truly miss her.

Left to cherish the sweet memories of Makaylynn is her grandmother, Cathy Klutts Bailey of Port Arthur, TX; her grandfather, Greg Galow and wife Michelle Raisor of College Station, TX; her great-grandparents, Leon and Jo Ann Klutts of Winnie, TX; her great aunts, Karol Denby and husband Ken of Johnson City, TX, Janis Malitz and husband George of Port Bolivar, TX, and Nancy Moseley and husband Keith of Orange, TX; her father Gene Kennedy Galow and wife Dana of Port Arthur; her mother, Ashley Marie Gamble and husband Drew of Port Angeles, WA; her siblings, Sofia Gamble and Wyatt Gamble of Port Angeles, WA; and numerous extended family members, friends and church family members.

Makaylynn was preceded in death by her loving grandfather, Rodney Lynn Bailey and is happily with him today without any more suffering.
