Lynda Carol (Burge) Jordan

Lynda Carol Jordan, 59, a native of Lumberton, TX, passed away on November 16, 2023 at her home. She was born on August 23, 1964 in Kountze, TX to Dan and Hazel Burge. 

She was a graduate of Lumberton High School in 1982. She met and married Craig Jordan in 1986. She gave birth to her only son, Dillon Jordan, in 1987. Her daughter, Lyndi Stanley Allien, was born in 1996. Lynda was artistic, loved music, was always known to light up a room and was the community animal rescuer. Lynda's legacy lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. She will be dearly missed by all touched by her presence.

Left to honor her memory are her parents; children, Dillon Jordan and Lyndi Allien and husband, Josh; uncle, Billy Burge; sister, DeeAnn Burge; grandson, Asher Allien; niece, Haylee Bodden; nephew, Brandon Bodden; dear friend, Todd Gray; and a host of extended family, friends, and loved ones.

Lynda is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Willie and Rena Burge; maternal grandparents, Howard Montgomery and Mamie Poe; and husband, Craig Jordan.
