Levi Thomas Higgins, age 33, of Vidor, passed away on Saturday, October 5, 2024. He was born in Springfield, Missouri, on January 15, 1991.
A beacon of light and joy, he left this world brighter for his having lived in it. Always in good spirits, Levi's presence was a constant source of happiness for everyone fortunate enough to know him. His silly and goofy demeanor was his unique way of lifting the hearts of those around him, spreading smiles and laughter wherever he went. Despite facing numerous challenges throughout his life, Levi emerged from it all with an unwavering faith in the Lord, which only grew stronger over time. Music was the language of Levi's soul, a medium through which he expressed himself, reflected on life, and found inner peace. Whether through a song or mixing tracks, music was always close to his heart. Above all, Levi cherished his family, he loved them deeply and unconditionally. He will be deeply missed but forever remembered for his joyful spirit, strong faith, and the love he shared so freely.
Left to cherish his memory is his mother, Deborah Savoy and husband, Charles; father, Thomas J. Higgins; son, Isaiah Thomas Higgins; brothers, Chris Higgins and Tommy Higgins; sisters, Joy Rickett, Brooke Freeman, Jonathan Savoy, David Savoy, Jr., and Logan Savoy; beloved niece, Lexie Blessitt; grandnephew, Kaden Kriner; mother of his son, Lacey Gabriel; and best friends, Dexter Lindsey and Patrick Fisher.
Preceding him in death is his brother, Zachary Bethel.
