Letricia Krug Jones, age 63, of Vidor, passed away on Wednesday, September 10, 2025. She was born on January 4, 1962, in Beaumont, TX.
Affectionately known as “Mawmaw Trish” or “Aunt Trish,” Letricia was the kind of woman who could brighten a room with her smile and others with her laughter. Though small in stature, she was feisty. No matter what she faced, she endured with grace and grit. Her joy was contagious, and if you weren’t smiling, she’d find a way to make you smile. She fancied herself a professional spoon player of sorts and her favorite past time was pingin’. Her faith was the cornerstone of her life. Letricia spoke to everyone she met about the Lord, living by her words: “God’s got me and I got you.” She didn’t just say it, she lived it. Her devotion to helping others was unconditional, even when it came at a personal cost. If she had it, she gave it. Her heart was open, her hands always extended. Letricia was a woman of style and substance. No matter the occasion, she made sure she was put together. She was creative and crafty, with a special talent for decorating that turned ordinary spaces into something special. Her greatest joy was her family, especially her son Bradley, her baby boy, with whom she spoke sometimes ten times a day. She gave the world her best. Though she has gone home, she leaves behind a legacy of kindness, creativity, and compassion that will live on in the hearts of all who knew her, with them knowing that without a doubt, God’s got her.
Left to cherish her memory is her son, Bradley Jones and wife, Carol; brothers, Shaun Jones and Shane Jones and wife, Sherri; sister, "B.J." Jones and husband, Bobby Salazar; grandchildren, Dustin Burke, Kirsten Torres and wife, Brandy, and Courtney Burke; great-grandchildren, Isabelle, Benjamin, Alicia, Leon, Dawson, Ivory, and Waylon; and a host of nieces and nephews dear to her heart, friends, family, and loved ones.
Preceding Letricia in passing is her husband, John Krug; and parents, Jack Jones and Barbara Spoonmore; brother, Michael Fogarty; and sister, Sherlyn Fogarty.
