Leanda Marie (Smith) Cherry

Leanda Marie Cherry, age 35, of Silsbee, TX, passed away on Sunday, September 1, 2025. She was born on June 9, 1990, in Beaumont, TX.

Left to cherish her memory is her beloved husband, Kenneth Cherry; sons, Joseph James Shirley, Lane Shirley, Easton Bass, and Trace Bass; daughter, Kenley K. Cherry; mother, Wendy Ann Sjogren; brother, Schuyler Smith; sisters, Whitney Hanks and Patreya Tilley; cousins, Colleen Parr and Cheyenne Parr; sister in law, Tonya Wright and husband, Troy; her beloved chicken, “Can’t Get Right”; and a host of extended family, friends, and loved ones.

Leanda was preceded in death by her father, James “Leebo” Levester Carroll; maternal grandparents, Nora Dell Morris and James Oliver Morris; and aunt, Sandy Lynn Parr.

Visitation for family and friends will be Monday, September 15, 2025, beginning at 1:00 p.m., at Agape Life Church, 835 US-96 BUS, Silsbee, TX 77656. Leanda's life honoring memorial service will begin at 2:00 p.m., Monday, September 15, 2025, at Agape Life Church.
