Larry Justin Smith Sr., age 74, of Lumberton, TX passed away on Sunday, May 14, 2023. He was born in Vidor, TX, on May 24, 1948, to Gladwell and Essie Craft Smith.
Left to honor his memory is his beloved wife, Debra Webb Smith; sons, Larry Justin Smith Jr. and wife, Kimberly Nicole, of Lumberton, TX, and P.J. Follmer and wife, Michelle Renee, of Blytheville, AR; daughters, Rhonda Gail Bivens and husband, Travis, of Rusk, TX, and Melissa Diane Erpelding and husband, Robert, of Lumberton, TX; brother, and best friend, Jay “Billy” Smith and wife, Becky, of Orange, TX; 17 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family, friends, and loved ones.
He is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Kaye Ryan; brothers, Jeane Smith, Rudolph Smith, and Gladwell “Junior” Smith; and sisters, Jessie Fountain, Johnie Fox, Juanita Orelia Turner, and Shirley Smith.
Larry's life honoring memorial service will be held at Trest Community Center, 140 E Chance Cutoff, Lumberton, TX 77657 at 1:00 p.m.
