Larry Stanley Dewitt

Larry Stanley Dewitt, age 64, of Vidor, TX, passed away on Sunday, April 28, 2024. He was born in Vidor, TX on April 06, 1960, to Daniel and Dorothy Bowen Dewitt.

Larry was a family man, he loved his girls well; and always supported the grandkids in their sports, even earning the title of “loudest Pawpaw in the stands”! He loved to fish and hunt, and you couldn’t find a more loyal Dallas Cowboys fan! Larry was a long-time supporter of the Vidor Pirates and enjoyed spending time with his family from his season ticket seats. He was a strong Christian man, who raised his family in church, and loved to give Jesus glory by singing worship songs. Larry will be missed by all those who knew him!

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Carrie Dewitt; daughters, Andria Holder and husband Daniel, and Kaitlin Russell and husband Chaise; brother, Daniel Dewitt; grandchildren, Anthony, Caleb, and Barrett Holder, and Marilyn and Madisyn Russell.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents.
