Kayson Jace Baker

Kayson Jace Baker, 4 months, passed away on February 24, 2020. He was born on October 11, 2019 to Kelvin Markee Paige Sr and Chasidy Renee Baker in Port Arthur, Texas. 

Kayson was the sweetest baby with his calm, even temper. He loved to eat and had a healthy appetite. He was quick to smile and always wanted to be held in the comfort of someone's arms. Kayson was a treasure, cherished by many. Though his fingers were small, great was the imprint he left on the hearts of those who loved him. 

Left to hold his memory in their hearts is his mother, Chasidy Baker of Port Arthur TX; father, Kelvin Paige Sr. of Port Arthur TX; grandmother, Kimberly Baker of Port Arthur, TX; grandfather, Theo Baker Sr. of Beaumont, TX; grandmother, Valada Paige-Banks of Greensboro, AL; grandfather, Charles Wayne Thomas of Greensboro, AL; great-grandmother, Barbara Massey of Beaumont, TX; uncle, Theo "Scooter" Baker and wife Shannah of Silsbee, TX; aunt, Brittany Baker of Port Arthur, TX; brother, Kelvin Paige Jr; sisters, Maleiah Paige, Kaycee Paige, Kristyn Baker, Kylee Baker; and numerous great aunts, great uncles, cousins, and other family members and friends.

Serving as pallbearers will be Michael Peacock and Zachary Peacock; honorary pallbearers will be Theo Baker Sr. and Rodney Baker.

To honor Kayson's memory, a visitation will be held at 10:00AM on Saturday, February 29, 2020 at Calvery Tabernacle, 2455 Commerce St, Beaumont, TX 77703. The honoring of life service will begin at 11:00AM and will be followed by a graveside service at Forrest Lawn Cemetery, 4955 Pine St, Beaumont, TX 77703.
