Justin Paul Sliman, age 41, of Vidor, TX, passed away on Friday, November 21, 2025. He was born on May 26, 1984, in Lake Charles, LA.
A personable soul, he had a gift for making people feel welcome. Whether as a boss, coworker, or friend, he carried himself with a rare mix of sharp wit and genuine warmth. A gentle giant in every sense, Justin’s towering presence was matched only by his big heart. He loved a good meal, had a sweet tooth, and delighted in sharing jokes that could brighten even the toughest day. Comedy was one of his greatest joys; whether stand-up or sitcoms he found humor everywhere and shared it freely. Justin began working at a young age, steadily building a career defined by hard work and perseverance. His dedication led him to become a general foreman at the plant, where he earned the respect and admiration of those around him. He was not only a leader but also a mentor and friend, always ready with encouragement and a laugh. Outside of work, Justin’s passion for football was well known. A loyal fan of LSU and the New Orleans Saints, he cheered them on with enthusiasm, though he never cared for the Dallas Cowboys. Justin will be remembered for his humor and his kindness. He leaves behind countless memories of laughter and love. His presence will be deeply missed.
Left to cherish his memory is his mother, Janice Wilkerson and husband, Johnny; wife, Rusha Sliman; son, James Sliman; daughter, Kylie Dronet and husband, Jay; grandchild, Christopher Dronet; sister, Kaci Sliman; brother, Josh Sliman and wife, Kari; best friends, Adam Pachuca, Dalton Vallery, Mike Guilbeaux, and Monterey Valladares; partner Jamie “BOB” Reynolds; and a host of extended family, friends, and loved ones.
Preceding Justin in death is his father, John Sliman.
