Judy Wing Obituary

Judith “Judy” Elaine Wing, age 73, passed away on Tuesday, February 4, 2025. She was born on March 7, 1951, in Beaumont, TX, to L.D. and Dora Bevil Carter.

With kindness, compassion, and support for those around, Judy left a mark on everyone she met. She never had an enemy and never spoke ill of anyone. Her gentle nature and thoughtful spirit shone through in everything she did. Always looking out for the needs of others, Judy's life was a testament to selflessness and generosity. She cherished her family deeply, holding her siblings close to her heart. Yet, her pride and joy was her son David, whom she adored beyond measure. Blessed to be a “Mimi” with the advent of her grandchildren, her kitchen was the heart of her home, where she expressed her love through the art of baking, creating delicious treats that brought joy to all. Every year, on his birthday, David could always look forward to his favorite: momma’s homemade Hawaiian Delight cake. A loyal Christian, Judy’s faith was unwavering. She embodied the love and teachings of her Savior with her kind heart and soft spirit. For nearly 46 years, she was a dedicated member of the Southeast Texas Ear, Nose & Throat team, where she was affectionately known for her tradition of giving candy to patients. Her warm presence brightened the lives of countless individuals over the years. Judy found love again late in life upon meeting Rodney, her future husband. Their hearts joined in marriage on October 10, 2010, at 10:00 a.m. From that day forward, they walked side by side, sharing a beautiful journey together until Judy drew her last breath. Their love story is one of true companionship and devotion. Judy was loved deeply and will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her legacy of kindness, love, and faithfulness will continue to inspire and guide those she leaves behind. Rest in peace, sweet Judy.
