Judy “Paula” Pauline Tweedel Crocker, 56, of Lumberton, passed away on January 18, 2021. Judy was born the oldest of five siblings on July 26, 1964 in Beaumont, Texas to Paul L. Tweedel and Linda Mae Phillips Tweedel. This sassy, beautiful woman was one firecracker who knew how she felt about everything and was not afraid to let her voice be heard; in fact she was never at a loss for words and often enjoyed being able to have the last word! A strong and brilliant woman, Judy worked as a paralegal for most of her career and loved coming home to caring for her family. A dedicated mom, Judy was always there for her boys and loved to care for children, even taking foster children in and adopting. As quick with her hands as she was with her mega-watt smile, Judy loved to crochet and left many beautiful things behind for her family. An avid reader whenever she had a moment to put her hands on a book, Judy could read two to three books a week easily. Flamboyant and outgoing, Judy could really captivate a room and her favorite rooms to be in were the ones with her grandbabies there. Nana loved those grandbabies more than almost anything else. This giving woman was truly beautiful inside and out and will be deeply missed.
Judy leaves behind her father Paul L. Tweedel of Lumberton; her son Matthew Tweedel and wife Jennifer of Lumberton and their children, Aubyn, Adalynn, and Decklyn Tweedel; her son Stephen John Lucas Pieper of Orange and his son Blaine Hanson; her siblings, Kristy Lanclos and husband Chris of Lumberton, Terry Tweedel and wife Melissa of Lumberton, and Danny Tweedel and wife Tammie of Lumberton; her nieces and nephews, Amy Tompkins, Ryan Tompkins, Cody Miller, Jessica Tweedel, Bobby Tweedel, Grant Tweedel, and Abbigael Tweedel; her great-niece Emilia Tweedel; and many friends and extended family members.
Preceding Judy in death is her mother Linda Mae Phillips Tweedel, and her brother Chad Tweedel.
Serving as pallbearers will be Ryan Tompkins, Grant Tweedel, Steve Pieper, Mickey Whitley, Aubyn Tweedel and T.J Daigle.
