Joseph Edmund Sears, age 61, of Lumberton, TX, passed away on Sunday, September 14, 2025. He was born on August 6, 1964, in Albany, New York.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Rene' White-Sears; mother, Judy Sears; sons, James White and wife, Skylynn, and Jesus Cruz and wife, Lacey; daughters, Lauren Sears, Jessica Carter and spouse, Dylan Bryant, and Cheyenne Touchet and husband, Jorge Labatos; brothers, Jammie Sears and wife, Melissa, and Russell "Redbone" Sears; sisters, Tracy Troiano and husband, Tom, and April Law;  cousin, Bill Sears and wife, Tammi; one grandchild on the way; best friend, Keith Crawford and wife, Tammy; and several nieces, nephews, friends, and loved ones.

Preceding Joseph in death is his father, Ed Sears.

Visitation for family and friends will be Saturday, September 27, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., at Lumberton Family Funeral Home.
