Johnny Morris Cole

Johnny Morris Cole, age 56, of Buna, passed away Wednesday, August 30, 2023. He was born December 10, 1966, in Kountze, TX, to Morris and Martha Myers Cole.

Johnny lived all his life in the area and was a former Captain of the Evadale Volunteer Fire Department.  He loved to serve and play music.  Johnny was an amazing musician who played both guitar and bass guitar.  He loved to sit on the front porch with his mother. He will be missed by his friends and family.

Left to cherish his memory is his mother, Martha Cole; daughter, Jessica Rome; brother, Andy Cole; grandchildren, Dalton Cole, Madison Davis, and Kyson Wong; as well as many friends, family and loved ones.

Preceding him in death is his father.

Johnny’s life honoring memorial service will be Tuesday, September 12, 2023, at 2:00 p.m., at Lumberton Family Funeral Home, with Chaplain Mark Adams officiating.
