John Jefferson Collins, Sr.

John Jefferson Collins, Sr., passed away on Friday, June 1, 2018.  John was born on May 18, 1956 to Jesse and Jerry Collins in Silsbee, Texas.  John retired from the U.S. Marine Corp where he served his country faithfully and honorably.  John loved to fish, however, according to family members, he didn't catch much, but he loved to fish.  John was loved by so many people; he will be missed each and everyday.

John is survived by his wife of over 40 years, Iris Langston Collins, of Silsbee, Texas; 3 sons, Shawn Langston, and wife, Jeanette, of St. George, Utah, John Collins, II, of Roswell, Georgia, and Tim Collins, of Washington, D.C.; a daughter, Chasity Bryce, and husband, Jesse, of Austin, Texas; 4 grandchildren, Sydney and Westen Bryce, of Austin, Texas, and Grady and Daylin Langston, of St. George, Utah.
