Joe Samuel Perry Sr.

Joseph “Joe” Samuel Perry Sr., 53, passed away at his home in Silsbee on Sunday, October 18, 2020. Born in Patchogue Long Island, NY on October 17, 1967 to Samuel Joseph Perry Jr. and Dorothy Coords Perry, Joe was one of three boys. Joe proudly served his Country as a member of the US Army shortly after high school. As a dedicated provider and loving husband Joe spent 32 years married to the love of his life, Michelle Lee Twiner Perry raising a family of three children. Joe loved to spend his free time gardening, watching movies in the mancave, or working out in the shop; a talented grill master, Joe loved to BBQ for the family as well and enjoyed time with his family and playing with his dogs. Nothing quite captured Joe’s heart like the smiles of his grandchildren who all loved their “Grumpy Joe”. A kind man with a loving heart and good sense of humor, Joe will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Michelle Lee Perry; his children, Blake Twiner and wife Cathey of Silsbee, Kelli Rogers and husband Wayne of Deweyville; his brothers, Kyle Perry and wife Kim of Mannorville Long Island, NY and James Perry of Florida; and his grandchildren, Blake "Bitty" Twiner III, Ayden Kelley, Peyton Ebner, Ava Ebner and last but certainly not least, his dogs, Ali and Akhenaten.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel Joseph Perry Jr. and Dorothy Perry, as well as his son Joseph Samuel Perry Jr.

A life honoring memorial service will be held at Lumberton Family Funeral Home, 766 S. Main St. Lumberton, TX 77657 at 2:00PM on Monday, October 26.
